Dear All,
If anyone would like to try using virtual 3D models of deformed rocks for
remote teaching, please see our small collection hosted at Sketchfab:
https://sketchfab.com/okram/collections/rock-deformational-fabrics.
Sketchfab provides a very neat and robust 3D viewing enviroment (works
nicely on smartphones too), and permits you to embedd the models as iframes
into webpages of your own creation. Models are also downloadable, and
original Agisoft Metashape project files can be obtained from me upon
request.
The specimens belong to the fabolous structural collection curated by Kamil
Ustaszewski at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany. (See
Kamil's poster at Researchgate for more details:

aptic_sensations_with_hand_specimens_-_a_plea_for_integrating_rock_collectio

I shot the specimens for testing purposes less than a month ago during my
short visit to Jena - little did we know that the whole world will be closed
down a couple of weeks later. Unfortunately, we had time to shoot only 11
pieces, but they comprise a wide range of rock deformation styles, and I
hope you can find some use for them.
Best regards, and stay strong, and stay safe,
Marko
