There are conflicting papers about ACE inhibitors and angiotensin receptor blockers; ranging from papers suggesting that those on these drugs are associated with poor outcome to other papers suggesting these drugs as potential therapy.
However, acute lung injury due to other viruses (like influenza B) will probably show similar non-specific biochemical & haematological changes associated with massive cytokine release, so it is debatable to suggest a therapeutic agent based on this common pathophysiology.

Clinical and biochemical indexes from 2019-nCoV infected patients linked to viral loads and lung injury

"Moreover, the Angiotensin II level in the plasma sample from 2019-nCoV infected patients was markedly elevated and inearly associated to viral load and lung injury. Our results suggest a number of potential diagnosis biomarkers and angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) drugs for potential repurposing treatment of 2019-nCoV infection."
