Keynote speaker: DJ Krust aka Kirk Thompson
Deadline for submissions: Fri 31 Jan 2020
The Call for Participation will be closing soon for our bass music & culture study day, happening this summer at the University of Bristol. The scope of the event is deliberately broad, encompassing global hip-hop studies and EDM research as well as bass music analysis, historical and theoretical perspectives, the views of DJs and practitioners, and more. More announcements regarding registration, travel/accommodation, etc will be on the way in the coming months. In the meantime, please spread the word and fire away with any questions. Big thanks to the BFE & RMA for supporting the event, Dr Justin Williams, and committee members Mark Higgins, Dr Steven Gamble, & Zach Diaz.
