Let me concur with that.
I'd be very interested to see your thesis-quality rationale for why Canada is not within the scope of your investigation when our close buddies the UK and the USA are — and if you really feel that Canada and the rest of the world is not significant— why you are not collecting answers from us anyway in order to compare your intuitive distinction with actual data.

Dear Matthew,
I celebrate the idea of investigating the contemporary status of Industrial Design, there is a lot to understand and uncover there.
If you don't mind though, I would like to ask why the survey is limited to people within the UK, Continental Europe and the USA? I tried to participate and I was rejected because I don't live in any of those places.
I'm really looking forward to your reply, as I think there must be a very good rationale to why leaving out the rest of the world.

Subject: Short Survey: Investigating the Status of Industrial Design
Dear colleagues and designers,
I am currently undertaking a thesis investigating the contemporary status of Industrial Design. The current status of the field and the direction in which it is proceeding seems somewhat unclear, particularly when viewed in context of the past. In accordance with this, would like to ask for your help by responding to a small survey that I have put together, link as follows.

The survey is open to any and all who are design related. Please feel free to pass it on to others who may be interested.
Many thanks in advance,
Matthew Tommey
