First of all, apologies for any cross posting;
I am a London Borough of Lambeth librarian, undertaking dissertation research as part of a Library Science Msc at City, University and am researching recollections of the implementation of both Section 28 and Black History Month in the late 1980s, in public libraries. As well as the subsequent effect on services since.
I have an online survey that can be undertaken here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc-RmvSAzv3SixI091ujfwaBG3U5wFUREoCmHSzXOxJFN4kUQ/viewform?usp=sf_link
alternatively you can download a word document version here, along with wider information here about the research context: https://colettelis.wordpress.com/2019/08/05/section-28-black-history-month-libraries-in-the-1980s-and-their-legacy/
I am looking to close the survey mid October, so any responses very welcome. Please also share with any relevant colleagues. I am happy to answer any questions/have informal conversations via [log in to unmask]
Once completed my thesis will be published online OA, so will be happy to share with anyone interested
Many thanks in advance!
Colette
