Dear colleagues,
I’d like to bring your attention to two PhD fellowships available at Kiel University as part of the recently awarded ROOTS Excellence Initiative. The first PhD fellowship seeks a candidate interested in high-resolution paleodietary reconstruction for both animals and humans through stable isotope analyses of collagen and bioapatite. The second PhD fellowship seeks a candidate interested in exploring human-reindeer interactions in contemporary and ancient Siberian communities using a ethnoarchaeological approach coupled with zooarchaeological, stable isotopic, and/or genomic analyses.
The deadline for applications is Sept 16. Please see the following link for more information on these PhD fellowships and application details. http://www.cluster-roots.uni-kiel.de/en/open-positions
Please feel free to share with anyone who might be interested.
Best wishes,
Cheryl
