Thanks for sharing the link to the editorial. It is not surprise for me
that most of design research has been done in "research into design." In
the editorial, you said:
"In the intervening quarter-century, a more nuanced and mature approach to
‘research through design’ has developed. Practice-based research in design
has moved more closely towards matching the characteristics listed above of
good practice in research. But there still remains an ingenuous
interpretation that there are only limited differences between design
practice and research practice, an attraction towards a persistent but
simplistic view that design and research are the same thing." p. A5
I am curious about whether Design Studies has accepted "research through
design" articles that match *good practice in research.* If so, please
share a couple of examples.
