medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Apologies for cross-posting.
Several back-to-school messages have reminded me that folks will be
putting final touches on their Fall syllabi. So here is my own reminder:
images in my online photo archive are freely available for educational
lectures, exams, etc., and are sized to be Power-Point friendly. (I do
require a licensing fee for publication, but that is a different story.)
I have posted over 6000 images. Since I am a medievalist, medieval
objects predominate; but people teaching other areas, too, may find
useful material from the Paleolithic to contemporary.
The web site is static, but can easily be searched by putting into a
Google search box <site:www.kornbluthphoto.com> followed by a space and
your search term.
Anyone willing to use old fashioned indexing will find at
<www.KornbluthPhoto.com/archive-1.html> indices by
Historical culture/period
Strict chronology (cross-cultural)
Iconography
Medium
Genre
Present location
Artist
Abbreviations in the captions are expanded at
<http://www.KornbluthPhoto.com/abbreviations.html>.
I have shot a great deal of new material in the past few years, and much
of it is ready to use though not yet indexed and posted. If you need
something that I might have, feel free to get in touch!
