Dear Members of the Usage Board,
As shown below, we are REALLY CLOSE to resolving all
eight remaining issues by email. For seven of these, we
just need a few more votes on the proposed resolutions.
In one case (#72), before calling a vote we need a bit
more feedback on what to use as an example.
If we cannot resolve everything in the next few days,
then as per https://doodle.com/poll/kzexd327dyznyyyc we
will have a call next Wednesday:
Wednesday, June 19
16:00 Berlin
https://zoom.us/j/411220026
We will resolve as many issues as possible on the call
with whoever is able to attend; others should please post
their votes or comments.
* https://github.com/dcmi/usage/issues/74 - VOTE!
Juha has proposed that a note be added to each of
twelve properties in six pairs of inverse properties.
I have proposed a wording for vote at
https://github.com/dcmi/usage/issues/74#issuecomment-500972767
* https://github.com/dcmi/usage/issues/73 - VOTE!
After a short but illuminating discussion, Juha has
suggested we use an ISBN, URN, and DOI in the Crossref
format as examples. Please vote at
https://github.com/dcmi/usage/issues/73#issuecomment-500976723
* https://github.com/dcmi/usage/issues/72 - comment!
Examples for dct:format
One reviewer pointed out that the examples for
dct:format are only literals, although Format does not
have a literal range, and proposed that we use as an
example the Wikidata property for RDF/XML syntax --
https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q48940 . Karen has
proposed instead that we use the RDF property for the
datatype HTML -- http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#HTML
If there is a clear preference for one or the other, we
could vote.

Definition of dct:educationLevel
One reviewer suggests changing "class of entity" to
"class of agents". We already have four up-votes for
https://github.com/dcmi/usage/issues/71#issuecomment-496015784
* https://github.com/dcmi/usage/issues/70 - VOTE!
Definition of dct:audience
Same as for #71 - a proposal to change "class of entity"
to "class of agents". We already have four up-votes at
https://github.com/dcmi/usage/issues/70#issuecomment-496015199
* https://github.com/dcmi/usage/issues/69 - VOTE!
"Tables shall be explicitly cited in the document."
Tom has posted a proposal showing how this could be
done, and it has already been up-voted once. This
issue seems easy; we already have three up-votes at
https://github.com/dcmi/usage/issues/69#issuecomment-496013990
* https://github.com/dcmi/usage/issues/68 - VOTE!
"Annexes shall be explicitly cited in the document."
An easy issue - we already have two up-votes for
https://github.com/dcmi/usage/issues/68#issuecomment-496012980
* https://github.com/dcmi/usage/issues/67 - VOTE!
Definition of dct:Standard
There are already five up-votes at
https://github.com/dcmi/usage/issues/67#issuecomment-496011344
Finally, FYI for an editorial issue that will simply be
resolved UNLESS THERE ARE OBJECTIONS:

Redundant statement in Annex B
