Hi Lars,
There might be some useful stuff for you in Bent Flyvbjerg’s book Megaprojects and Risk: An Anatomy of Ambition.
It is centered around case studies of large scale construction projects, including the Big Dig in Boston, the Øresund Bridge, and a number of others.
