Hello,
As Sandra commented AI and design have not only been around for a long time (some of us were writing AI-based design software as long ago as the early 1970s!). AI-based design support software are already part and parcel of professional day to day practice many design fields (AutoCad, InDesign, Photoshop, Revit, Solidworks, EDA software, AI-based process management software, automated form design software, asset optimisation software, Operations Research software...)
Nasser: are you planning to use the well-established standard approaches to design of AI-based design support software (e.g. literature on decision support systems); or are you thinking to add to the standard expert knowledge elicitation (white box) approaches with automated pattern elicitation from datasets (black box) approaches? If so, I'd be interested in your reasoning.
Is anyone involved with you at Lancaster Management School or InfoLab21?
Best wishes,
Terry

Hi Nasser,
What scheme of collaboration are you looking for?
Currently I'm product manager at Datank, a data science company. We build a platform (julieta.ai) that helps enterprises to develop AI strategies to automate processes.
Stefan,
Is true that the bound between AI and design has been around for several decades now, but it's been recently that we are actually building real products, services and infrastructure.
