Yes seconded Alistair,

we would definitely appreciate seeing the slides Abi mentioned for the same reasons.

Thanks Abi

Alistair - if you have the slides which Abi mentions that would be greatly appreciated, as I think at the moment trying to communicate the requirements across our institutions at the moment is quite difficult unless we can say with 100% surety that the new Regs apply to all electronic/digital teaching materials.

It may not be writing but I have co-presented with Tony Ilona from GDS at 2 events (one was JISC Digifest). At Digifest he spoke about the regulations covering all digital platforms and online documents. Perhaps JISC/Alistair can share the slides from the event?

Best wishes

> Ben shares the many ways the University of Kent is working hard on accessibility, including piloting something called Blackboard Ally, which automatically converts course resources into a variety of formats - including Electronic Braille.

>

>

>

> However, for all the great digital technology out there, sometimes the simplest things are the best. For example, they are using German film which leaves a physical indentation when written or drawn on, to create tactile content. Braille labels can also be added along with QR codes which when scanned link to short audio descriptions.
