Hello All
Thanks you for all the great discussions on this forum! Really helpful!
I am in my third year of PhD. I am doing RE of Outreach Service delivery method of family planning in Rural India, and at the stage of analyzing data. My data includes FGD with Senior Executives of the NGO who operate the Outreach Model; questionnaire (contains both open and closed ended questions) with a total of 40 field staff and questionnaire (contains both open and closed ended questions) with the clients (25) who received family planning services.
To formulate CMO links, I have developed Concept Maps (depicting the C-M-O links in a form of a flow diagram) for each of the three categories (Senior executives, field staff and Clients). The CMOs for senior executives was used to formulate initial program theory. Now I am trying to quantify the strength of the CMO links (there were too many CMOs) for the field staff and clients. My supervisors are suggesting that I should quantify these links to assess which links are strong and then focus on these links in my analysis and report writing.
Has any one in the group used a similar approach? Are there any papers or publictions that talk about using different layers of groups (program designers, implementors and service users) in RE? I have come across some very good protocols but not any complete study.
Thank you again for all your support!
Cheers
Monisha
