Dear colleagues,
Apologies that this is not strictly related to zooarchaeology, but it may be of interest to those in the early stages of an academic career.
Newcastle University has launched a new post-doctoral academic track Fellowship scheme open to applicants in all subjects, including archaeology. The starting salary is £40,792 - £48,676 and the Fellowship is for 5 years. It is supported with up to £50,000 in research expenses and the appointment is expected to progress to an open-ended faculty contract. Full details can be found here: https://www.ncl.ac.uk/nuact/about-nuact/.
Please pass this on to any potential applicants!
Thanks and best wishes,
Eric
