Postdoctoral researcher in music history/music education
The Norwegian Academy of Music seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher for a three-year position from autumn 2019. The aim of the position, which is co-funded by the Lindeman foundation, is to study the institution's origin, development and activities from its founding as a private conservatoire in the late 19th century up to its establishment as a state Academy in 1973. The research(er) will be part of the History project of the Norwegian Academy of Music, leading up to its 50th anniversary in 2023.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree within a relevant discipline, such as musicology or music education, and must submit a project description with the application.
Deadline: April 1st 2019
The position requires reading skills in Norwegian.
