Dear Brunno,
I am not sure to understand why you do not get the required variables in
the workspace - it's implemented here:
https://github.com/spm/spm12/blob/master/config/spm_run_results.m#L84-L87
but, yes, as you found out, spm_jobman will also return the output of
each module.
