Hi Tracey
We run the BTEC L3 Animal Management and they have Part A and Part B for a particular unit. Part A is the set task that is completed in the class room with the tutor and Part B is the external exam which is run under full exam conditions with external invigilators. Maybe yours is the same as this?
Kind Regards

Thanks Lorna I have seen this but no mention of external invigilation required or that the tutor cannot invigilate. If it does state this in the document then I can't find it.

Hi Tracy
There's a new admin guide - hopefully full guidance included there:

Subject: BTEC Set Tasks
Hello
We have some BTEC Level 3 Health & Social Care set tasks going ahead in January and my understanding is that these set tasks can be done in class with no external invigilators needed. However, Edexcel have come back to me to say that Part B of Unit 4 is to be externally invigilated.
I'm certain he's got it wrong but is anyone else running this unit and if so what arrangements are you putting in place if any?
Thanks
