Hi Tracy,
Majority of our BTEC claims we do at the end of the academic year and we have an Assessment Board with the Head of Department to sign the grades off and a cut off date. We lock Pro monitor after the deadline so no tutor is able to go in and change grades. Any grades after the deadline will be via an Exams Grade Request on Pro Solution.
I then import them on to Pro Solution in order to create the EDI.
If there are any short courses, usually the Head of Department will inform me via email stating they are ready to claim and at that point I will import grades onto Pro Solution.
We also do have a missing grade report which helps to identify the missing grades which then is brought to the attention of the Head of Department.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Kind Regards

Subject: ProSolution Markbook
Hello
For anyone using markbook in ProSolution how do tutors inform you when they are ready to claim the BTEC units? Do they send you a simple email with details of who they want claiming and how many units or do you ask them to complete a form?
Now that SRF's are no longer available I need to let the tutors know what options they have as I know a lot of them won't want to complete the units on Edexcel online themselves and we don't have time to input all the units in exams.
Thanks
Tracy
