Royal College of Music – AHRC-funded Doctoral Awards
The Royal College of Music welcomes applications for its PhD/DMus programme by 15 October 2018. The RCM is a member of the AHRC-funded London Arts and Humanities Partnership, which brings together eight prestigious institutions to support doctoral-level study. LAHP2 is a collaboration between the Royal College of Music, the Royal College of Art, Royal Central School for Speech and Drama, Queen Mary’s University London, University College London, London School of Economics, King’s College London and the School of Advanced Study.
LAHP2 is offering up to 90 doctoral studentships for UK/EU applicants for 2019 through an open competition, as well as Collaborative Doctoral Award (CDA) opportunities to work with non-HEI partners in the cultural, creative and heritage sector. Our six core partners are the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Museum of London, Google Arts and Culture, the Metropolitan Police, the Wellcome Trust and The National Archives.
The Royal College of Music invites applications in the broad areas of musicology, performance practice, artistic research, composition/screen composition, performance science, music and material culture and music education.
