The UK NEQAS for Serum Indices (HIL) had Vit B12 as its 'Analyte X' in Distribution 122, which was published at the end of last week. Roche users didn't seem to differ in their proportion of who would return results between slight and moderate haemolysis.
Hope this adds to the mix.

Subject: roche haemolysis limits B12 (gen 2) and folate III
Hello forum
Would anyone care to share their decisions and limits regarding the haemolysis limits for the above cobas assays.
The P/I for folate just says do not use haemolysed samples, the P/I for B12 suggests an H limit of 40.
Our rejection rate is very high!
