I also made registration entries under 9B and EDIFACT version this last year, it also worked well for us and I got a results file in August to import.
Kind Regards

Thanks Lorna
So you use EDIFACT under 9B. I didn't realise you could do that as ours appears to be set up for JCQ. I'll have to look into this further.

Hi Tracy
We're a large FE college and have always made registrations under 9B and EDIFACT version - it all works well and we get a results file(s) in August. I think the JCQ format is predominantly used by schools as they have different types of data.
We make BTEC paper-based exam entries under JCQ format using NOCN centre number.

Lorna

Subject: Prosolution - BTEC Registrations
Hello
We currently register out BTEC students in Prosolution under series 20 and upload an edifact file through A2C, however, we have merged with another college and they enter theirs under series 9B and send a JCQ file through A2C. Does anyone know what the difference is or the benefits of using the JCQ format rather than edifact?
Thanks
Tracy
