I have a virtual machine on which I installed XUbuntu 16.04.5 LTS. I
then used the fslinstall.py installation method to install FSL 5.0.11
into /usr/local. FSLeyes version 0.24.5, OpenGL version and
compatibility 2.1, renderer llvmpipe (LLVM 6.0, 256 bits).
Access to this machine is via SSH, and VNC is tunneled, so the X
session is vncserver.
FSLeyes seems to run fine for most everything -- we can load images,
we can manually scroll through volumes, etc. -- but when we try to use
movie mode, the volume counter increments but the display goes black
-- no images, no crosshairs, nada. Stopping the movie and reentering
a volume number will restore the image. Clicking the eye icon in the
overlay list box once restores the crosshairs, and a second time the
image of the current volume.
Using the incrementer arrows in the Location box to scroll through
volumes seems to work, except that for many volumes, it takes two
clicks of the up/down triangles to advance/retreat one volume. Not
for all volumes, and there isn't a pattern, as near as I can discern.
So, the summary is: Movie mode displays a black screen. I can
manually advance through all volumes when not in movie mode, and all
display, so I do not think there is a problem with the image file.
The volume incrementer sometimes requires two clicks to move one
volume.
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks, -- bennet
