Dear FSL Experts,
We are using B0 unwarping on our fMRI scans. The scans have a calculated EPI spacing of 0.57 ms, but when we experimented with other spacing on one scan when performing the B0 unwarping, we found that the default higher number (0.7) looked in the registration report like it resulted in less distortion of the BOLD image relative to the structural scan and MNI template. Is the end goal of B0 unwarping to have the BOLD image appear to be the least distorted (in which case we should use the higher value) or are there other factors that are important to the B0 unwarping that we might not be able to assess visually (in which case we should use the actual EPI spacing)?
Thank you,
Meredith Braskie
