Just to be clear, I was not in any way being critical of Maternity
Action's motives or campaigning. Rather, I was thinking that, given
that there are other organisations concerned about the impact of
essentially the same issue on a wide range of clinical areas,
collaborative lobbying might carry more clout that would individual
action in relation to relatively narrow clinical areas.
