Dear Curious,
I guess that one of the pernicious features of mansplaining is that the mansplainer has no self-awareness of his behaviour. You have self-identified as one of the small group of men who dominate this list; that's a start. With more reflection and introspection you may be able to self-diagnose a conclusion.
