Dear UTSG Members,

Have you booked your place for #2018TPM?

The 16th Annual Transport Practitioners’ Meeting (TPM) taking place 5-6 July 2018 in Oxford is quickly approaching and, if you haven’t done so already, now is the perfect time to register to ensure you don’t miss out on the annual event for all transport planners, highway engineers and urban transport designers.

We are excited to be welcoming so many industry leaders to Oxford this year – take a look at the programme here. This year’s conference features two plenary sessions, ten hands-on workshops, over 100 paper presentations, numerous poster projects and some very fun PechaKucha presentations to close the event.

The full event programme can be found here: http://transportconference.co.uk/2018-tpm-programme/ <https://creator.communigator.co.uk/editor/%7BContent/CampaignURL%7D/lz.aspx?p1=%7bContent/EMailLink%7d%7bContent/CampaignCode%7d&w=19040>

Announcing the #2018TPM Plenary

This year, the two-day plenary session provides a unique opportunity for different client and user groups of transport planning services to critique the profession and voice their image of the future shape of the transport planning profession. Carrying on the conversation on Day 2, a noteworthy selection of transport planners will respond to the challenge and explore how the profession may set its own development path and vision.

Chaired by Jonathan Bray of Urban Transport Group and Peter Jones of UCL, you won’t want to miss this session!

Day One Confirmed Speakers:

Isabelle Clement, Director of Wheels for Wellbeing

Alex Hollingsworth, Councillor of Oxford City Council

Steve Gooding, Director of RAC Foundation

Simon Statham, Head of Technical Programme for Midlands Connect

Andrea Lee, Senior Campaigner for ClientEarth

Glenn Lyons, Professor of University of West of England

Networking and Social Programme

In addition to the networking opportunities available during the day-time conference, there is also a fantastic social programme available to help facilitate those candid conversations: Arup sponsored Pre-Event Walking Tour, Friday Morning Fun Run through Oxford, TPS Sponsored Networking Drinks at the Ashmolean Museum, Tracsis sponsored annual TPM Awards Ceremony will be complimentary with your ticket to the conference, subject to registration.

Sponsoring and Exhibiting

There are still sponsoring opportunities left for #2018TPM! Joining the 16th Annual Transport Practitioners’ Meeting as a Sponsor or Exhibitor is an easy and affordable way to brand your organisation as a thought leader within the profession. TPM gives you exposure to industry experts and decision

We hope to see you there!
