By 'level of intelligence' I mean, not results measured with IQ metrics;
rather, in relation with the ability and capacity to deal with artifacts,
either upstream conceiving them, or downstream using them.
And by 'ability' and 'capacity', I precisely mean different levels of
expertise in performing with or on artifacts.
We are trying here to set boundaries in a complex phenomenon, at the
interface between artifacts, users, and contexts of use. Therefore the
length and breadth of our respective conceptualizations would be relevant
to the level of comprehensive clarity we aim to attain and express of the
interaction above.
