Terry,
Your comment somehow got me to thinking about doing photographs of the illustration on American Spirit cigarettes. (For anyone who mired in late 20C Art enough to get it, the trail is Richard Prince > cowboys > Marlboros > American Spirit > Indians.) That led me to a Youtube video with an image of American Spirit and Marlboro side-by-side. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2frX-gfGCtU
Even though I knew about people wanting organic cigarettes, the accompanying discussion about fears of radiation levels in cigarettes due to crop fertilizers was interesting. I assume the only health concern related to smoking is the impure farming methods.
The tobacco crop around here is up to about a foot high. I guess I should wear a lead apron when I go out on my bicycle.
