Hello,
One challenge when doing research is the issue of clear thinking- clear
thinking on the part of researchers and participants. Some things get in the
way.
https://digest.bps.org.uk/2017/06/20/5-reasons-its-so-hard-to-think-like-a-s
cientist/ (Commentary on https://doi.org/10.1016/bs.plm.2016.11.006)
An anecdote doing the rounds in Fremantle:
People with an interest in their health have just realised that German beer
has been found to contain up to 30 parts per million of Roundup (Glyphosate)
a possible carcinogen.
This is worrying and is very likely to cause some people to stop drinking
German beer.
However, beer contains 50,000 parts per million of a KNOWN carcinogen -
alcohol.
Somehow this is not worrying people as much as the glyphosate.
Best wishes,
Terry
