The Guildhall School is delighted to invite you to its final Research event of the Spring Term: Brahms and His Poets, taking place on Monday the 19th of March at 2.30pm in Milton Court, London.
As part of a day-long Brahms event, Dr Natasha Loges (Royal College of Music) and panelists discuss the challenges of understanding and performing Brahms’s songs, in particular those raised by his choice of poetry. This event focuses on the changing meanings of song poetry during his lifetime, and the implications for performers today.
The panel will be led by Dr Natasha Loges, and the panellists are Eugene Asti, Stephan Loges, Katy Hamilton and Jacqueline Ross.
