Dear fellow structural geologists and tectonicists,
The Tectonic Studies Group Annual Meeting 2019 will be held in Bergen,
Norway, hosted by the University of Bergen (http://www.uib.no/en/geo). We
are currently putting together an exciting conference program, and will be
distributing more information about that in the weeks to come.
Now we want to inform the community that the dates for the meeting have
been set to January 14th-16th 2019. Although slightly later than usual,
the dates were set after careful consideration of a range of factors
discussed at this year's meeting in Plymouth, and we hope that attendance
will amount to record numbers.
The conference venue will be the university aula in the beautifully
renovated Natural History Museum from 1865
(http://www.uib.no/en/universitymuseum). Bergen can be reached by direct
flights from London (Gatwick and Heathrow), Manchester, Aberdeen,
Amsterdam, Paris, Copenhagen and many more.
Abstract deadline will be October/November. More information will follow.
Feel free to direct any questions to [log in to unmask]
On behalf of the organising committee: best regards and see you in Bergen
in January 2019.
