Dear Terry,
I was expecting some more knowledgeable colleagues to comment further the
content of the two videos you recommend, as for myself I didn't get a clue
of what both presenters in the videos are talking about!
Thank you very much though for keeping in mind my long standing query:
whether or not Mathematics would be useful in all designers' practice:
along the continuum from the fine-artists to those more hard science
inclined. And in the affirmative, how Maths should be taught in different
Design curricula.
Perhaps our reflection, at least those interested on this issue, should be
informed by a scrutiny, as you have been attempting to do for decades now,
of how Maths are taught and used in Engineering design. And then
extrapolate and adapt to every other design discipline in the field?!? My
two cents!
