Hello all,
I've written three short posts summarising my PhD research for a non-academic audience.
I investigated how design choices - physical and digital - affect our social connections, how designers can use theoretical models of social networks to achieve particular social outcomes, and the ethical responsibilities that ensue.
Technology is shaping our social connections. Designers need to take responsibility.

I wrote the posts with a view to disseminating my research to a non-academic or interdisciplinary audience (economics, sociology, design research). I'd be very grateful for any views the list has on the blog / Medium based approach, or alternative places to publish. Or on the research itself!.
Best,
Jimmy
