Dear friends following this discussions I’m starting to have my doubts that books may contain something or anything other than graphic marks.

Gladly I found that some books integrate something called “table of contents”. This might indicate that at least for the authors and editors there are “contents” in a book, but, alas… maybe the table of contents do not also exist since books contain, may contain, after all, nothing. 

It is nice to go through these table of contents and follow the desperate strive of authors, sometimes multiple, to convey clear information about a subject that they know about and thus pretending that their knowledge is therefore evident by the way they have organized information. I even imagine that, in a delirium hard to contain some authors are under an hallucinating spell of imagining that there, in that book, in that entry, for time to come, their knowledge is deposited so that in some years to come even centuries in the future other humans may know what they knew now..
