Routledge is embarking on a new series of monographs whose purpose is to
assess the various inter- and trans-disciplinary discourses in which
musicology, in its very widest sense, partakes (i.e. to include
ethnomusicology, sound studies, popular music studies, etc.). The first
books in the series, on psychology of music and on hermeneutics and
phenomenology in music-discourse, have been commissioned; we are keen to
receive more proposals for new volumes as soon as possible. Further details
and the full call for proposals are available from commissioning editor
Heidi Bishop ([log in to unmask]) and series editor Allan Moore (
