Hi Sutirtha,
We are currently investigating a case of this. 90 year old female with Waldenstrom's macroglobulinaemia. IgM kappa paraprotein of 54g/L. We were unable to get a result on the Abbott Architect, with an error suggesting that the reading was high. Same sample when sent for measurement by LCMS returned a result of 67nmol/L.
We are currently in the process of sending aliquots of serum to other sites to determine whether other automated immunoassay platforms are able to get a result.
