Yes, I think that's all true. However, I would have thought that the
best solution would be to burn the methane in a power station to
produce electricity (rather than let consumers burn it), since a
power station could, at least in theory, implement measures to
minimise the resultant discharge of C02 into the atmosphere -
something that would probably not be practical at the level of consumers.
