The Windsor Fellowship is working in partnership with the Royal Society <http://windsor-fellowship.us7.list-manage.com/track/click?u=d8a0a0d412a7d1b6563923b95&id=029c5f5dbb&e=00f717feb3> to deliver Destination STEMM, a one year mentoring programme for students starting Year 12 in the autumn from a Black heritage living or studying in Greater London.
The Programme is seeking students who are considering a career in a STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine) subject. The programme will support students for one year, starting autumn 2017.

Benefits:
* Monthly interaction and support from an allocated Mentor from a scientific subject area.
* UCAS and apprenticeship application support from your Mentor and the Windsor Fellowship
* Programme launch event at the Royal Society attended by senior figures from the Royal Society
* 4 skills and development workshops to support and develop key skills and competencies in order to enhance your personal and professional development.
* Becoming a part of the Windsor Fellowship Alumni and access to other programmes.
* Opportunities to participate and attend events organised by the Royal Society to improve subject knowledge and professional networks.
Commitment
* Attend 4 one day ( 23rd September 2017; 11th November 2017; 27th January 2018 and 10th March 2018) seminars over the year long programme
* Attend the programme launch event at the Royal Society on 27th September 2017
* Regularly communicate with and meet your allocated Royal Society Mentor
* Contribute to the promotion of STEMM subjects in your school and local community
* Commit to the mentoring programme agreement
* Participate in an ongoing evaluation of the programme
Eligibility criteria:
* From a Black (Black or Black British African, Black or Black British Caribbean, Black or Black British other or Mixed Black or Black British) background
* Starting Year 12 in autumn 2017 to study STEMM related A Levels or equivalent
* Resident or studying in Greater London
* Planning to go to university to study a STEMM-related subject or considering a career in a STEMM
