Subject: Invitation to tender for future RSA conferences
Dear list members,
* For more than two decades the Regional Studies Association (RSA) has had an ongoing programme of major international events, attracting participants from academia, policymaking, and practice from all around the world. The purpose of RSA conferences is to provide a friendly, supportive and inclusive environment for RSA members and non-members from urban and regional academia, policymaking and practice to exchange latest research, development and practice insights.
*
We are now inviting proposals for the following forthcoming conferences:
* 2019 Annual Conference
* 2019 Australasia Conference
* 2019 Central and Eastern Europe Conference
* 2020 Annual Conference
Our Annual Conference is held in European destinations and previous conferences took place in Delft/The Netherlands in 2012, Tampere/Finland in 2013, Izmir/Turkey in 2014, Piacenza/Italy in 2015, Graz/Austria in 2016 and Dublin/Ireland in 2017. The 2018 Annual Conference will be held in Lugano/Switzerland. We are now inviting proposals for the 2019 and 2020 Annual Conference.
The Australasia Conference is a relatively new conference series and events would be held in Australasia every two years. Previous Australasia conferences took place in Melbourne/Australia in 2015 and in 2017 we will have our Australasia Conference in Sydney/Australia. We are now inviting proposals for the 2019 Australasia Conference.
In 2017, we started a conference series focussing on Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the first conference in the series will be held in Cluj-Napoca/Romania. A CEE conference will be held every two years and we are now inviting proposals for the 2019 Central and Eastern Europe Conference.
