I have a nice deposit of boar mandibles from a Middle Bronze Age site in central Serbia (site - Ljuljaci), but it was not in a pit.

Hi,
Deposits of pig mandibles is a common trait in Middle Neolithic graves (pitted ware culture) on island Gotland in the Baltic Sea. For more information I suggest you contact professor Jan Storå at Stockholm University [log in to unmask] I have found pits with pig mandibles in a ritual area in Malmö in southern Sweden.
best wishes
