Ludo2017: Sixth Easter Conference on Video Game Music and Sound
April 20th – 22nd, Bath Spa University

We are delighted to announce that booking is open for the conference on
video game music and sound. We have a full three days of research papers
and demonstrations, on all aspects of game music and sound, including:
> Keynote address by Roger Moseley (Cornell University), author of Keys to
Play: Music as a Ludic Medium from Apollo to Nintendo (UC Press, 2017)
> Keynote address by game music composer Rob Hubbard, best known for his
groundbreaking compositions for the Commodore 64 (International Karate, Jet
Set Willy, Monty on the Run, and many more).
> Keynote address by Dr Kenneth McAlpine (Abertay University), author of
Bits and Pieces: A History of Chiptunes (OUP, 2017)
> A concert of new compositions inspired by, and using, game audio
technology, curated by Dr James Saunders, organizer of the open score lab
