Hi John
We have been through a similar process and we use the Australian College ALP for calculating SD targets for IQC (after implementing factors pending upon capability (Sigma score) of our assays as ALP should not be used as limits for iQC). I am attaching two papers that you might find useful explaining how these ALP were derived. I am not sure if all labs in Australia are using it but I have communicated with Prof Rita Horvath SEALS North laboratories in Australia and I understand that they are using the Australian College ALP.
