Dear Richard
My first impression is that it is a chelonian bone, a sea turtle of some kind. The end of the bone with three small points resembles what you can find in many of the bones in carpaces of sea turtles. I don't have any skeleton at hand right now so I can't check if my assumption is wrong. There are some papers illustrating marine turtle bones and I will look for them.
