we all have ‘day jobs’ and it's not possible to be familiar with all theoretical perspectives. Yet, there have been lots of exchanges on this list over the years about gender, to which I have contributed, as have you, in which I have provided explanations, references, theoretical positions, examples, metaphors and real life experiences. I don’t know what else to say, if you don’t see that ideals emanate from a position (not nowhere), they are not neutral and they have material effects on real bodies
