Registration is now open for the Sound and Music in Documentary Film International Symposium, 23-24 February 2017, at the University of Huddersfield, UK.
The symposium aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss the use of sound and music within all aspects of documentary film.
A keynote talk will be given by Professor Andrew Kotting who will also present a performance with Claudia Barton of his experimental documentary, EDITH (2016).
The symposium will run alongside The University of Huddersfield’s annual Electric Spring electronic music festival and will feature Mark Lyken and Emma Dove's Mirror Lands in a documentary themed film night on the evening of the 23rd February.
