Dear hispanists,
To mark the 400th anniversary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes,
Cambridge University Library has released a virtual exhibition
showcasing some rarely seen material from a wide number of collections.
The exhibition, which came out just before Christmas, focuses on
Cervantes most celebrated character: Don Quixote. It aims to highlight
some of the ways in which this figure has been appropriated by readers,
artists and other writers throughout the centuries with a wide range of
beautifully illustrated material.
