what you mention as non-intellectual, non-philosophical,
non-analytical qualities are impossible for the thought,mind, reason
based cognitive paradigm as the very nature of this paradigm is to
analyse, to think, to argue, to reason, to conclude etc.
Where as in the cognitive paradigm based on 'SEEING or experiencing'
what you mention is possible. Here the only question that arises is
what is that one do to make sure that one is able to see as clearly as
possible with out the biases the mind is creating.
In this paradigm objectivity is obtained as a result of working with
one's mind to remove the biases. Achieving selfless-ness was the
primary qualification to seek knowledge.
This is the process used by indian seers who set out to understand
what is life? what is their role in life etc.....
Here seeking truth was not an academic exercise but an existential
enquiry for which one did everything possible no matter how long it
takes..
