REMINDER ***** The Faculty of Music, University of Oxford, is inviting applications for two Post-Doctoral Research Assistants: Empirical methods, and Historically Informed Performance, for their new AHRC funded project 'Transforming 19th Century Historically Informed Performance'
Applications are invited for two Post-Doctoral Research Assistants to work on the 'Transforming 19th Century Historically Informed Performance' (Transforming C19 HIP) project led by Principal Investigator (PI) Claire Holden with Professor Eric Clarke as Co-Investigator (Co-I). Transforming C19 HIP is a 60 month AHRC funded research project hosted by the Faculty of Music at the University of Oxford that brings together leading performers and academics to investigate the differences between modern and contemporary performance styles, and to seek to change the way professional performance of nineteenth-century compositions is approached, particularly by 'period' instrument ensembles.
Both posts will start 1st April 2017.
