Hi Christine,
Try: http://geoscenic.bgs.ac.uk/asset-bank/action/viewHome
Standard res is 1000 x 1000 pixels, but if you contact the Enquiries team @: [log in to unmask] , you may be able to get higher resolution images for your purposes.
Most images will be from the UK, with classics such as Siccar Point. You can browse by geological subject, although this can be a bit random...
Good luck,

Subject: high resolution geology imagery?
Hello,
We have set up several very large monitors in the hallways outside our departmental office that rotate through various “stock” panoramic imagery that advertises the types of research problems addressed by our Earth and Environment department does. (ex: pictures of coral reefs, oil platforms, deciduous forests etc).
We however have not been able to find places to download or purchase similar imagery or animations to advertise the geology side of the department.
Does anyone know of places where we could download or purchase high resolution geology imagery or animations that show interesting geologic field areas or geologic/ geophysical/ geochemical processes? The ideal image resolution for the display is 11520x2160 or bigger.
Thank you in advance,
~Christine
