Hi, we're now reviewing papers submitted to RSD5 and we're looking for a few
more good workshops. Luckily we have allowed for plenty of extra time for
workshops and posters, so if you've got a concept for a methods-based,
creative or experimental workshop for Relating Systems Thinking and Design
please submit in the next week or so. http://systemic-design.net/
Proposals may be submitted for the following presentations at RSD5 using
EasyChair by June 19<https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=rsd5>.

* Workshops
* Dialogues / Panels
* Posters / Gigamaps
Presentation Types
Workshops
RSD will host two sets of 8 workshop tracks of half-day or full-day
workshops, allowing for up to 16 workshops, all held on Thursday Oct 13 at
OCAD University. Workshop abstracts should follow the same abstract criteria
as paper sessions, and will be selected based on their strength and fit to
the themes of the conference. Please include the following details for our
evaluation and planning:
* Title, presenters, and duration (3 hour or 6 hour)
* Max number of participants, and their level of experience in
systems/design methods (Anyone, Mixed skill, Advanced)
* Purpose/Learning objective
* Description of workshop process
* Methods or skills introduced
* Materials needed or you will provide
* Any readings or background required
Posters / Gigamaps
Posters are encouraged for presenting work in progress, theoretical work
with high potential interest, and graduate student work of high quality and
primarily visual format. The Gigamap or Synthesis Map category refers to
rigorous, studio or research developed system maps in the tradition of
Systems-Oriented
Design<http://www.systemsorienteddesign.net/index.php/giga-mapping/giga-mapp
ing-information>. Posters and maps will be hung on walls or mobile boards in
a gallery space. While we do not define a standard size or type of map, the
printed format should be at or larger than 36 in x 48 in. RSD5 does not
provide printing resources, but high quality printing is available
reasonably nearby within Toronto, if needed - ask the organizing team if
required.
Dialogues / Panels
Proposals for dialogue sessions or interactive panels will be considered for
track sessions for RSD5. Because panels require multiple (typically 3)
discussants and dialogue conversations require ample time for deep
discussion, these proposals will be defined for 45 minutes or an hour.
Depending on the topic and its significance, dialogues/panels might be
included within longer paper tracks or if of substantial interest, might be
considered for plenaries.
